Why do I need a starch separator?
Starch is stored in the form of grains inside the cells of potatoes, cereals and other legumes. During the peeling process, the starch grains (cells) are torn open and the starch is washed out by water. Table potatoes have a starch content of approx. 20–30%. After a short period of time, this leads to incrustations and blockages in the sewage pipes. The starch separator keeps the drain free of starch deposits that can clog the flow.

What are the benefits of a customer account?
It saves time and offers promising benefits. You don't have to re-enter the delivery or billing address every time. When you place an order, it will automatically be delivered to the address specified in the customer account, unless you specify a different address. Can you replace the peeling system?
Yes, you have a basic machine that can be equipped with the different systems belonging to the series. The peeling system can be replaced as desired — depending on your demands on the peeling result.
Can you just wash the vegetables without peeling them?
Yes, washing systems are available for the ZS and K series. The washing systems are available with area-wide brushes, with 4 brushes or without brushes.
How should the machine be cleaned?
After the daily peeling, a peeling run without inserts should be done with water only, so the remaining pods are rinsed out. For thorough cleaning of the peeling area, the peeling system can be removed using the enclosed tool. Important note: No cleaning agents or disinfectants may be used.

You can choose between the SUPER blade peeling system, the round hole peeling system or the carborundum peeling system.
Which peeling systems are available for the ZS series?
This series works exclusively with the carborundum peeling system. This is available in different versions (onions, garlic or tubers).

You can choose between the SUPER blade peeling system, the round hole peeling system or the carborundum peeling system.
