Flottwerk is characterised by its continuously progressive outlook. The company produces all the products in their own manufacture, which is established in Rotenburg (Germany).

During the first 30 years the products were made by hand. When the industrialization era started new machines were added and the products could be produced faster and with a higher amount. Over the years the products were again revised, improved and new ideas were created.

Thus, the small hand-operated "Flotte Lotte" became a machine that can wash and peel up to 1,000 kg of vegetable per hour.
