Traditional family-run company since 1892

Flottwerk is characterised by its continuously progressive outlook. A traditional, family-run company, Flottwerk holds patents in a variety of fields, which is testimony to its enduring capacity for innovation. Flottwerk's steady progress in development and production in all product areas is your guarantee of outstanding quality, safety and reliability. Since 1892, the company Flottwerk produces products in two different divisions:

  • gratings for staircases, bridges and metal processing
  • vegetable washing an peeling machines

The company produces all the products in their own manufacture, which is established in Rotenburg (Germany).

During the first 30 years the products were made by hand. When the industria-lization era started new machines were added and the products could be produced faster and with a higher amount. Over the years the products were again revised, improved and new ideas were created.

Thus, the small hand-operated "Flotte Lotte" became a machine that can wash and peel up to 1,000 kg of vegetable per hour.
